I was born in East Los Angeles in May of 1976. Growing up in LA during the 80s and 90s was rough. Financial resources were scarce and America was going through a recession. My parents often struggled to make ends meet and early on, I intimately understood the challenges that come with limited means. But it was this very background that fueled my determination to learn, grow, and eventually help others navigate the complex world of finance.
